Welcome to WindowsArchitects.co.uk these general terms and conditions apply between WindowsArchitects.co.uk and you, or the legal entity you represent, as a customer, when placing an order at www.windowsarchitects.co.uk using the Website. These General Conditions, apply both in relation to legal entities and consumers to the maximum extent allowed by national mandatory law. By using or shopping from this Website, you agree to be bound by our  terms of use and shall comply thereof.

“Windows Architects” is a trading name of  “Custom Made Windows” LTD company registered in United Kingdom under Company Number: 11352948, Unit 10 Roding House, 2 Cambridge Road, Barking, Essex, United Kingdom, IG11 8NL.  “Windows Architects” strive to always comply with mandatory consumer protection laws and regulations where the Customer who is a consumer has its country of residence.

WindowsArchitects.co.uk have the right to deny any purchases by persons that do not, according to applicable mandatory law in their country of residence, have the right to enter into agreements regarding purchase of the products sold by WindowsArchitects.co.uk (e.g. persons under 18 years old). By purchasing a product on the WindowsArchitects.co.uk you hereby confirm, that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into a binding agreement with WindowsArchitects.co.uk

Amendments to this agreement can be made and effected by us from time to time without specific notice to you end. Agreement posted on the Website reflects the latest agreement and you should carefully review the same before you use our site.

PRODUCTS AND ORDERS

All our products conform to mandatory standards, certifications and legal requirements.

We use our best efforts to fulfill all orders, unfortunately WindowsArchitects.co.uk cannot guarantee the availability of any particular product displayed on the Website. We can also discontinue the sale of any product without notice.

All orders are expressly conditioned upon acceptance by us, and we may refuse or cancel orders for any reason at any time, including breach of these terms.  If your credit card or payment account has already been charged for a purchase and your order is not accepted, we will issue an appropriate credit to your credit card or payment account.

Please note that in the event you dispute an order, we reserve the right, at our option,  to the fullest extent permitted by law, to seek reimbursement of any related costs incurred by us, to turn any past due account over to collections and/or report delinquent payment to the credit bureaus.

All products are custom made by your requirements.

PAYMENT, PRICES AND FEES

All prices are presented in Pounds and inclusive of value added tax (VAT). The prices are exclusive of paying fees, delivery fees, packaging fees.  Prices and promotions also are subject to change.

Payment may be made by credit card, debit card or a bank transfer.

When you place an order, we’ll charge your card for it. We may preauthorize your order amount with your credit or debit card issuer at the time you place the order, which may have an effect on your available credit line.

SHIPPING POLICY

We usually manufacture our products in 4 weeks, but all manufacturing, shipping and delivery dates specified on our website are estimates only and can be subject to change.

After your order of windows, doors and facades are made, you will receive a notification of delivery stating, when and where the package will to be received. Our team members will deliver your order and install windows, doors or/and facades for you. (if service is ordered)

Usually, after order confirmation, it takes up to 4 weeks your purchase to be manufactured and delivered to you. Delivery time depends of product specification.

Unless otherwise is explicitly stated in the order confirmation, prices do not include shipping and delivery costs.

If an order features products with different production times, the order will be delivered when the product/s with the latest production time are finished and ready to be delivered.

WindowsArchitects.co.uk reserves the right to not deliver ordered products if the Customer wants the products delivered to an address in the region that it is impossible for WindowsArchitects.co.uk to deliver to.  We do not have to state the reason why we refused to deliver the products to a specific address, this is determined in WindowsArchitects.co.uk sole discretion.

OUR SERVICE

The responsibility for preparing the space for the windows installation lies with you.  You will be responsible at your own expense for the removal, replacement and/or alteration, if required, of any facility, furniture or other items, that we require to be moved in order to install the goods and supply the services.

If you require our team members to move any items on your behalf, this may result in an increase in the price to cover our additional time spent in doing so.(Please book it in advance.)

WARRANTY

All WindowsArchitects.co.uk products are covered by warranty for 5 years, regardless of whether you have ordered.

During the Warranty Period, WindowsArchitects.co.uk will repair or replace (at sole discretion) this product or any malfunctioning parts. If repair or replacement is not commercially practicable or cannot be carried out in a timely manner, WindowsArchitects.co.uk may choose to refund to you the purchase price paid for the affected product. Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty does not give you the right to any extension or a recommencement of the warranty period.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing products a 14 day withdrawal period applies in accordance with EU consumer protection law, if the Customer is a consumer. A Customer has the right to withdraw the purchase by notifying WindowsArchitects.co.uk of this within 14 days from the day you or a person specified by you have received the product ordered (the withdrawal period).

The right of withdrawal is not applying for a product made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalized and a product which is, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items. In connection with ordering a product for which the right of withdrawal does not apply, the Customer will receive clear information about this.

If you want to withdraw the purchase before the expiry of the withdrawal period, send a message to WindowsArchitects.co.uk via e-mail. To facilitate the withdrawal, WindowsArchitects.co.uk recommend you to contact our customer service on the Website.

The Customer shall state name, address and preferably other relevant information that is needed in order for WindowsArchitects.co.uk to identify the order, e.g. number and date of order and if the Customer has purchased several products, which products he/she wants to withdraw in the message.

CLAIMS

Notice of any claim relating to shortage of or damage to the goods should be made to us verbally at the time of delivery and confirmed in writing within 48 hours of delivery. We will consider claims only if the above conditions are met and the claim is signed by you and accompanied by full particulars giving your order number and a copy of our delivery note and invoice.

PRIVACY POLICY

We may use your personal information to provide Our Goods and services to you, process your payment for the Goods and Inform you of new products and services available from us. You may request that we stop sending you this information at any time.
